MUSIC

I grew up in a family and environment that really encouraged artistic expression. I learnt Indian classical music as a child, grew up into a guitar player and matured into a performing electronic musician, while pursuing a full time career in Design and Technology.

Here are some Albums, EPs and Singles I have released over the past 10 years.

I will start with Circus. My Magnum Opus. An 18-min long musical theatre I wrote over a period of 6 months in 2013-14.

·

Before Circus, I wrote my first EP which was influenced by ambient electronic artists like Shpongle, Shulman, Ott etc with a touch of Indian classical music and live instrumentation. This was in 2012.

·

Soon after I released my second EP with newer influence from artists like Amon Tobin, Flying Lotus, Eskmo and some more artists on the label Ninja Tune.

·

I travelled to Berlin in 2016 on an artist residency sponsored by Ableton and Wildcity called Border Movement Residency. I released my first full length album titled ANK, on a Berlin based record label called Noland Records while there.

·

I travelled and played a bunch of shows in Germany, came back to India with a much diversified taste in electronic music leaning more towards textures, and industrial sounds and left field music in general. The same year I wrote one my favourite EP called Schizo.

·

Around the same time I was exploring the creative coding language processing and grasping my head around the first ideas of generative art. Following is an EP that was purely generated out of random MIDI generators in max for live in Ableton and synthesised live.

·

In 2017 I released another EP on my soundcloud called Madhuban Breaks. A never ending exploration of complex break beat music.

·

In 2018 I put out an experimental techno EP still chasing complex dance music called Rush.

·

Last but not the least, are two singles called Covid Diaries which were written during utmost depressing time all across the world.
